When? Where? What?

Never miss another Harriers club event!

Visit the diary dates page to see when and where we're training, when and where our weekend club runs are, what races are coming up and what social events are planned.

Read the monthly club emails for useful updates about things we're doing. (These emails will be sent to the email address linked to your England Athletics profile, so make sure you keep that up-to-date. See below for how to do that.)

Use the WhatsApp community to chat to other members, by joining groups that are relevant to your running interests. Not in the WhatsApp community? Contact the Committee to be added.

Kit requests

Of course! Have a look at our kit page and drop Liz a line via the Committee email address.

England Athletics Portal

All the details the club has about you are logged in your England Athletics profile. It's your job to keep those details up-to-date - your email address and emergency contact details are especially important.

Login to the MyAthletics portal (you'll need your Unique Runner Number to login, here's what to do if you've forgotten your URN)

CC6/RR10 explained

As a member of Halterworth Harriers, you are able to take part in the CC6 and RR10 running leagues as part of our team. These leagues are for running clubs in Hampshire. The races are off-road and are usually about 8k (5 miles). Please don't be put off by the 'race' aspect. Some people are more competitive about these than others! It's just a great opportunity to do something as a club.

CC6 races take place on Sunday mornings in the winter, RR10 races take place on Wednesday evenings in the summer. To find out when the next one is, visit our diary dates page or head to the CC6 or RR10 websites for all the dates, details and instructions. Both leagues also have useful Facebook groups.

To take part, you need to register with parkrun (as your parkrun barcode is used to log your CC6 or RR10 finish position). You then need to register with RR10 (which will also cover you for CC6).  You only need to do this once, you don't have to renew each year or after a period of asbence. Finally, you will need a Halterworth Harriers running top - see our kit page for details.

We usually carshare for the races, meeting at Halterworth School in good time to park and warm up at the venue. Join the CC6/RR10 WhatsApp group for details.

General questions

The Committee is always ready to help with questions about the club - don't be afraid to drop us an email, or spot one of us out on a run to speak in person. But we're a small, friendly club and asking any fellow Harrier a question about the club is always worth doing.

Former glories

Details about our previous AGM and Scavenger Hunts are all available for you to look back on.

Report a concern/issue

All Members sign up to, and are bound by, our Code of Conduct. If you believe that this has been breached by an individual member or by the Club in general, you can let the Committee know. If you have a safeguarding or welfare concern, please let Billy know (see the Committee page).

Leaving the Club

It goes without saying that we're always sorry to see members go, but we know sometimes it happens. To resign from the Club, you need to let the Secretary know, as per our Constitution. Contact the Committee to do this.

Bring/tell a friend!

Word of mouth is a great way of bringing in new members. If you have a friend who wants to join us, they are welcome to come along to a Tuesday session to see what it's all about.
