Members past and present will be saddened to hear of the passing of Thelma Dowling - a life member of the club and one of our most intrepid and inspiring fellow runners.
Thelma proved that age is no barrier to being active, and was able to do a roly poly even in her 90s. She was walking and running into her 80s - and even jumped out of an aeroplane for her cherished charity, Marie Curie.Â
