Halterworth Harriers social events 2009

Halterworth Harriers is predominantly a running club. However, ask any member and they’ll tell you that the social aspects play a big part!

We are very friendly, welcoming all ages and abilities. We usually run at a pace to allow plenty of conversation and also meet up at races or have a get together after a big race at a local pub.

There are two social secretaries, Judy Cutbill and Jane Heyer who organise social events throughout the year. Here’s what we have planned for 2009:

Saturday 18th May. 11am. Hut Wood, Chandlers Ford. Try orienteering with the Southampton Orienteering club.

Sunday 28th June. 2-8pm. Montfort Hall, Halterworth. Fun HASH run/walk around the location followed by a BBQ.

Sunday 11th October. 2.30pm kick-off. Mountbatten School. Friendly football match against Romsey Road Runners (followed by tea and cakes).

We also plan to hold a skittles evening at the Mill Arms in Dunbridge in the Autumn. Details to be confirmed.
